I put on a quarterly Creative Arts Service at the church I work at. This past week, as part of the service entitled: "Meditations on Psalm 139 & the Lord's Prayer", I showed the film in its entirety. Needless to say, it was controversial. Some people walked out. But I also heard many good comments. Some people loved it (especially if they stayed through the end). Most importantly, for those that were willing to engage with the film, it was thought provoking - even challenging. In the order of the night, immediately preceding the film was a reading of Psalm 139 and immediately following the film was a performance of a song one of our musicians wrote based on Psalm 139. This led into a time of vocal worship.
